Why look back?
Forecasts are most useful when they help you become more observant of your own life, not more dependent on prediction. Looking back gives you something astrology alone cannot: evidence.
When you look back through your calendar, photos, messages, money, body and conversations, patterns become easier to see than they were while you were in the middle of living them.
Reflection becomes useful when it helps you distinguish what was a passing feeling from what now has enough evidence behind it to deserve a decision, boundary, experiment or change.
The aim is not endless self-analysis. The aim is to let what you learn about yourself change an ordinary choice, conversation, habit, system or next step.
You do not need a dramatic event to make the practice worthwhile. Something becoming quieter, clearer, unresolved or noticeably unchanged is still information. Nothing obvious happened is allowed to be the answer.
