Your March Energetic Forecast
Cat Santos

Levity.

February was an ignition point.
And with “Fire Horse” still ringing in our ears it has without a doubt put pressure on us to be “full steam ahead”

Except that March contradicts this …

The month of March is mostly Pisces
(moving into Aries)

We are being showered by energy that dissolves.

Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac that symbolises completion. It’s less archetypal like the other signs and more a reference to a state of consciousness. It’s reminds us that at the end of the cosmic wheel we are not one thing, but all things.

So obviously, not a great foundation to be leaping from right?! But that’s the beauty of this month and the specific transits happening this year. You see, it IS asking for movement, just not from force.

March is not giving you solid ground.
It’s teaching you how to move without needing it (greatttt!)

and the practical answer on how to… is Joy.

Joy as Technology

With so much energetic fog in the first few weeks of March, your visibility (sense of inner direction) may feel a little clouded. Your first and most important task is to stay committed to your long term vision and not allow this energy to mean anything about you.

Here are two practicals way to
demonstrate this belief:

___________________________________________

  1. Activate Joy

Activate literally means:
to make something start functioning

So not just joy because you’ve seen something that makes you happy or because it’s a natural reaction to where life feels like it’s going well. I mean a literal CHOICE, a choice of orientation that keeps you aligned with flow, possibility, and keeps you in a receiving state.

Joy as technology is a switch you flip
that requires trust & discipline.

If you try to move through this month without proactively activating joy here’s what you may feel

You might:
contract
overthink
panic
hesitate
try to control outcomes
collapse under the weight of “getting it right.”

and that is exactly the state that blocks movement!!! and we don’t want that.

2. The “So What” Practice

‘So What’ is a practice that comes from Bashar (see Daaryl Anka) designed to interrupt the meaning that your mind immediately assigns to an event.

It reminds me of the Taoist Parable of the Chinese Farmer who responds “maybe” to any event and the Kabbalistic Principle of “pause, what a pleasure/what an opportunity ”

The idea for how to use this in March is that when anything happens over the next few weeks, good or bad, respond out loud" “so what”. Let’s say you post something online and it doesn't perform as well as you would hope. Your default mind might want to say “This isn’t working, I’m doing something wrong.” but, when you introduce ‘so what’ the response would be “okay, so what? It didn’t land. cool… what now?”

Same situation
Different internal state

Same thing can be said for a really positive experience, the idea is still to respond with the same frame “so what?” and remain on the middle path.

This isn’t to disregard the good or bad in our life, or to stop celebrating or feeling your feelings all together. It’s simply a work out technique to build the muscles needed in your inner world to stay regulated in the face of any extreme.

________________________________________

Think of these as reps at the gym.

Practice these workouts and notice the inner muscles you build. This is the inner strength that will support you to move cleanly with the pisces current and not against it.

But here’s the part I really want to reinforce… it’s not always going to feel natural. Lifting 40KG at your local Fitness First never feels easy on the first try. There will be days that are going to be hard.

When that happens: you’re going to give yourself a good 15 minute cry, 5 minute body shake and then actively choose to re-set to a feeling of joy.

And honestly, I think that is the
bravest thing anyone can do.

Stay open, not because it feels natural
but because it’s what keeps you aligned.

practical steps to work

with this energy

  • Make a Joy Playlist

A playlist that you can blast whenever you feel your mind grips and wants to slip into those negative feelings (the first song on mine is “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” from the movie Sing please feel free to steal it - it’s the BEST)

  • Listen to my Morning Joy Meditation upon waking up

It’s available on Insight Timer which is a free meditation app.

  • Stick little Joy & “So what?” notes around the house.

You are what you repeatedly impress onto your subconscious. Write what feels true in your body and it only has to make sense to you.

  • Set an Alarm for a certain time every day that says “Activate Joy Now!”

When this alarm goes off jump up and do 10 star jumps while smiling, that’s all! (bonus points if you yell yayyyyy while jumping)

  • Write a “can control/can’t control” list

Go back to this when you feel yourself start to spiral. Sometime the mind just needs somewhere to land. Or, try the Mystery Bucket tool from last month here

Take this slow.

Don’t try to control your month
by absorbing all of this information at once.
Life needs to be lived.

Take it a day at a time and work
with the energy as it presents.

Not everything that begins now will make sense,
but what begins now will matter.

Just ride the wave each day,
because that is a life worth living.
